- bake some cookies, breads, treats or cakes
- better yet do cookies in a jar
- offer your time at something you do well, for instance set up a website for someone
- make a scrap book of special moments or take some photos and make a collage
- go to your recycled center and find the perfect used gift
- write a poem or song
- make some homemade irish cream or coffee liqueur
- give away something you don’t need anymore
- buy someone a special plant
- give away your favorite book and sign the inside cover explaining why
- make a sock puppet
- fill a basket with homemade goodies – some listed on this list
- go somewhere special and share the time together
- give a food voucher for your favorite green shop or restaurant

What a great list Stephen! My favourite is number 3.
Another last minute idea is to dig up a photo of yourself and the person you’re giving the gift to and pop it in a nice photo frame.
PS I like your blog redesign.

Thanks Michelle. The nice thing about cookies in a jar is that you can keep em’ for ages and do cake in a jar and other variations. Photos are always a wonderful idea…the gift of a memory.
Glad you like the new blog design. A few tweaks still needed but I’m happy with it. Excited about what I’m doing with it next year – much more focused on helping the average person “go green” with monthly themes & challenges.
