simple irish cream recipe

milkglassLast week I shared a very simple coffee liqueur recipe but this one is even easier. Perfect on ice or to put in your coffee, this simple irish cream recipe saves a lot of money and only takes a few minutes to make.

Ingredients:

  • condensed milk – 1 can
  • vanilla – bean, powder or liquid
  • carob, cocoa or chocolate (I used my coffee syrup from my coffee liqueur recipe which had carob & coffee)
  • 2 cup cream (I used 5% or light cream)
  • 2 cup liquor (I used Rye Whiskey, but you can use Irish Whiskey)

Tools:

  • mixing bowl
  • whisk or blender (I used a hand blender)
  • clean bottle
  • funnel
  • measuring cup

Directions:

  1. Put all the ingredients in the mixing bowl and blend.
  2. pour into sterilized bottles
  3. store in fridge (should last for 4-6 weeks)
  4. Drink

Another easy recipe. Great in your coffee or on ice. Done in about 5 minutes and it saves about $25 a bottle. Tastes the same.
